2026 68th Annual Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale Recap
The Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale Board wishes to extend special thanks to all individuals who helped with our 68th Illinois Sale. The Friday night Trivia entertainment was enjoyed by approximately 100 people, and sausage and some food items were available. Income for Friday night was approximately $10,000. On Saturday 1,934 people, which is 90 more than last year, enjoyed pancakes and sausage. The auction began at 8:30 A.M. This year approximately 90 quilts and wall hangings were auctioned, which totaled $17,060.00. Many other quality items were auctioned and brought in $24,068.50. The net profit for the entire sale will be shared later when all expenses have been paid.
Additionally, our Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale Board and Dutch Market Committee wish to extend a very special thank you to all those involved in baking, selling, organizing, setting up, and buying delicious products at our 68th Sale. Chair Kathy Miller has reported that we received 714 pies, 175 jars, and 300 baked treats. According to Kathy and Wesley most everything was sold by 11:30 A.M. on Saturday. The Board deeply appreciates the excellent leadership and the many delicious products that were donated again this year to the sale. Finally, thank you to all who participated.
